Badminton Session 16 January 2012

We have accomodated 20 players tonight with 3 courts.
Plenty of new visitors tonight and all ad hoc slots are filled up again!
Badminton session nex Monday (23rd Jan 2012) will be cancelled because the badminton hall is closed for CNY.
Our session resumes on 30th Jan 2012, as usual at court 13 & 15.

Time for reminiscence

Pardon me for not updating the blog as frequent as we used to do.
Everyone now has been really busy with their works as well as personal activities.
We have mini gatherings here and then, now I will post them up to summarize what we have done in the past 6 months. Haha.

1) IBT went to Cambodia in April 2011!

This time around, four of IBT members went to Cambodia! They were having so much fun with numerous drinking sessions each day. It was a 5 days 4 night trip and it was all good! Hopefully, there will be another IBT trip in 2012 where most of the members will be able to join the fun too!

2) Abby Announced Her Marriage!

On 3rd August 2011 @ Piccadilly (see, i even got the date documented), Abby invited us all to her wedding. Unfortunately, only some of us manage to turn up to receive her red bomb.

3) Some IBT members returned for some sweat outs!

In this year, this time can be considered as a rare session as Sze Howe and Kenny came back for a game!

4) Kenny's Birthday Celebration at New Box USJ!

On 16 August 2011 @ New Box USJ Digital Mall, we celebrated Kenny's buttday! There's a taboo in EVERY IBT member's birthday celebration. The birthday person will be forever haunted by Wah Leehom side by side (see, wah leehom was serenading to kenny). Click into our birthday celebration posts, and you can see the evidence clearly.

5) Abby's Wedding!

Gorgeous groom and bride! Only Keano attended her wedding in Seremban while the rest of the members couldn't make it for her big day. Congratulations to them again! *lotsa xoxo*

6) IBT on Deepavali!

It was a one day trip downtown to Klang to makan-makan. Then followed by a karaoke session, later joined by Yan Seen in the evening.

Due to the increase of numbers of player, we have booked another court starting from this month!

We have finally resumed our regular session on Monday from 8.30 pm until 11 pm, however this time at a different venue.
You may locate us at Super Court USJ 19 at court 15.

For three years consecutively, we have never failed to stopover at Abby's house for angpow.

Oh.. We went to GREENBOX!

We have new intruders this time around, namely Ah Pole and Carleon! A round of applause. *Piak Piak*

See how seriously we were engaged in CNY mood! Nobody could beat us down!

We embarked on a blackjack marathon reluctantly (where everyone else had blackjack-ed at least ONCE except G Gor)

Can you put yourself into our shoes and imagine how brutally we were treated physically and mentally?

While Ah Leon couldn't help himself from swiping off the table clean, when GeeGee had already raised a white flag, G Gor constantly succumbed to his ill-fated cards. Hahaha.

FINALLY HE BLACKJACK-ED in the last round.

We all felt happily defeated for the very first time.

I bet this must be the most notable sessionf or the past 2 months.

We had 8 (EIGHT) players yesterday.

An unexpected number of people that I could ever imagine.

Those who came were Abby, Seng , myself, Ah Tiang, William, Keano, Uncle Eddy and Sze Howe!
It has been centuries since Uncle Eddy and Sze Howe last attended Mon's badminton session.

Uncle Eddy the epic one! Haha.
He was the biggest joker of the night, well, at least I thought so.
And I seriously never meant to smash the shuttle directly to you. It was just, by a mistake. Haha.

Happy happy birthday! We went to Kissaten @ Jaya One this time around for a birthday celebration.

Everyone came on time I guess. (myself, Carleon and Gee excluded!)

Most of the other members couldn't make it.

Wai Hon went outstation, Prisi and William somehow never replied, Tiang's parents came over while Kenny went back hometown and Wah Lee must be busy!

They seemed to be really satisfied with the food.

Ambience was good too!

This time, we bought him a tiramisu cake. (Abby! Help to post the picture here!)

An unidentifed man came over, stood behind SH (like wanting to ambush him anytime though he was very obvious) and waited for him to blew the candles.

Then he said, "Happy birthday! I came here for my fren's bday dinner too!"

Out of courtesy, we gave him a slice of cake plus self-decorated strawberry and self-cucuk(ed) lit candle.

101010 was meaningful for all, especially for Ah Tiang ♥.
The dinner wasn't planned earlier, it was an ad hoc call for IBT members.

Prisi couldn't make it because she was in Malacca, Sze Howe had family dinner, while Abby was MIA.

We initially planned to dine in at the Trendsetter at Bandar Puteri Puchong, however it was nowehere to be sighted.

Tikar sudah digulungkan. Shame on me. I didn't know that. -____________-!

And so, we went to this Fireman BBQ Steamboat.

There was a promotion. RM 29.90 Buy one get one free. Pretty good deal, isn't it?

Kenny, Tiang and I ate dinner together while Keano joined us for a drink at Wings Cafe thereafter. :0)

Olympic Day Run 2010 ♥

We've finally made it! Even only four turned up for this event, it wasn't that bad either. (Supposingly 6 person!)
So sad that Prisi couldn't make it because her leg was in pain.

Like what Prisi said earlier, it was the traffic light colours! Haha. We reached there before 7am and we have been lingering much around the area. And of course, we excelled in searching for a parking, illegally which is a norm among the runners.

There were so many people at the scene. Those in the fornt line were massive enthu runners! The clock was showing only at 7.15 a.m. and they must have been lining up quite long ago. We were given this yellow ribbon upon entrance. And there we flagged off sharp at 7.30 a.m.

Though the attendance for the past badminton sessions was alarming, it was good yesterday.

As usual, we went to makan-makan at Asia Cafe.

It's time to ditch stress! We came, we have fun, and we left with good memories! Boarded morning flight at 7.10 a.m. Reached KT airport bout 8.00 a.m and reached Redang Island bout 9 a.m. Didn't manage to check in early. Chomped on breads like ferocious beast especially Ah Pole. We stayed at Redang Pelangi Resort!

First day upon arrival!

We've got some tattoos too! RM 20 each! They really know how to make money huh? Vampires!

Had lotsa fun! Went to the Marine Park and some other random places that I didn't know the name. Brain washed by Ah Pole that Redang Bay is totally eerie! The sound of kids cycling during the dawn, the big star that annoyed the inhabitant from the sea, and a few more incidents. Lolz! We watched Thomas Cup too! Semangat ke-badminton-an. Go! Go! Go!

Went on with half day tour at KT. It was not splendid, however we were purely gastronomic satisfied. Buahahahahah. Flight was delayed for 30 mins and all got home safe and sound! :0)

Inaugural badminton session in Seremban @ Summer's Sport Centre. We (Keano, Wai Hon, Maverick, Carleon & I) reached Abby's place a little late and we went straight off to the court. There were 6 of us. Started at about 6.30 pm and our session ended at 8 pm.

Oh. This was the preliminary round. I have forgotten how much food we have taken. Not to mention that we have starved ourselves for past one week just to eat this buffet steamboat. Our newly joined member Andy is leaving KL. We (waihon, andy, prisci, abby, keano-cameraman) had a farewell dinner at Yuen Steamboat Restaurant.(sorry gee gee, we didn't wait for you) We sapu 5 plates of chicken wing and 2kg of prawn. After stuffing the stomach to the max, we went to have a few games of pool.

IBT has chosen to invade Malacca on the 11th and 12th July 2009. We managed to sneak into Parameswara's territory without a sound. We were greeted by the penghulu of Taman Jati, YAB Tan Sri Andy Pong and then straight off to Naza Hotel to drop off luggages. Soon after we have visited Andy's house, we proceeded to the Nyonyas for some refreshment. Jonker Walk was next before heading to the Eye of Malaysia. It was fascinating. HELL YA. -____-! The next morning, we makan chic rice, popiah, bought some stuff from Tan Kim Hock, and balik kampung. Oh ya! Never forget to check out our pictures from facebook. Rancangan kita semua pada awal pagi hari ini adalah berkumpul di rumah Keano sebelum kita bertolak besama-sama ke Dataran Merdeka. Kita menjangkakan bahawa kita akan sampai di destinasi sebelum pukul 6 pagi, akan tetapi gagal membuat sedemikian kerana kita tidak mengetahui tempat meletak kereta yang berdekatan dengan kawasan marathon. Walau bagaimana pun, kita mampu mencari tempat yang sesuai untuk meletak kereta. Kemudian, kita menghala ke arah tujuan dataran merdeka dan membuat persedian dari segi fisikal dan mental buat kali terakhir sebelum memulakan larian. Jurugambar kita yang berpengalaman, Prisi telah menangkap beberapa keping gambar sebagai kenangan. Sejurus kemudian, larian bermula dan masing-masing menjejakkan langkah yang pertama dengan penuh semangat kesukanan. Acara berakhir pada lebih kurang 9 pagi. Masing-masing berasa penat tetapi berasa besar hati dan berpuas hati dengan usaha yang telah dicurahkan. Kita menjamu selera di Bliss dan kemudian masing-masing pulang ke rumah untuk mem-babi.

If he can get that rate, you guys wanna move from SRGC to USJ19 ? Captain Lee is planning to have a trial session at USJ19 on 17/06/2009 (Wednesday), you guys want to have trial session together ?

I need feedback from all of you. If you guys want to remain at SRGC, please tell me. We will only change venue if everyone is agree to do so.

This would be the 3^rd birthday bash for IBT members and we are loving it. Our selected venue this time is Yu Kee at SS14, a BKT restaurant. We were celebrating Melvin and Prisi's birthday in advance since both of them couldn't make it for IBT trip. Eight people showed up. We ate 2 big bowls of bkt, lettuce, another bowl of of some skewed pork, and yau char kuey. And we ordered Shit Char. WL came later and joined us for the cutting cake ceremony. Haha. After that we went to watch the best comedy of the year, Coming Soon. WL obviously top the list for joker's hall of fame. After that, we all went to Steven's cafe for a bite. :0) Happy birthdays! Girls just wanna have fun! Sounded fammiliar to your eardrum? Yea! That's Cyndi Lauper. As planned earlier, we managed to eat dinner together at TGIF, Pyramid. No one paid for the entrance fees. Ramped in like elephants and settled down while waiting to be fed. Karen (coughKeanocough), Shirley (hint*WahLee*hint), Amanda (ahem*SzeHowe*ahem), Wendy (tsk*Waihon*tsk), Melissa (woot*Melvin*woot), Ailee, Sakaiful, Badter, Adorablur, and Little Alv were all there. It was a grand celebration for Wendy, Sakaiful, Karen and Little Alvie. Everybody was stunted when we started off singing, erm.. Twinkle, twinkle Little Star. YES! You heard it right! Everyone was so determined for yesterday’s badminton session. Adorablur Squid was piled under her mountain of works and couldn’t make it for the session. Demashita, Bad Boy, Great Wall of China and The Shuttlenizer vowed for push ups upon losing, however, in vain. We’ll try our luck again next time. Sakaiful was sick, but her craze for badminton never dies. BADter is still learning. Then, they had big feast at Asia Café.

BADter charged into the Neway karaoke room with bursting eagerness hoping that everyone turned out early for the session. TADA! Room was still vacant. Lolz. She started singing by herself when The Great Wall of China came in through the door (the door is enormous!). We ordered food while waiting for Adorable Squid, The Shuttlenizer and WL. Three manias were not in attendance. Demashita had to save the world. Sakaiful had to sakai back to her hometown. BAD Boy had to work. CNY Gathering at Seremban 2

The party was planned earlier but almost everything was carried out at the 11th hour. We ain't panic buttons. Everyone reached Keano's house at about 5.45pm , 5 of us (waihon, ailee, prisi, sze howe & carmein). We managed to grab a bite from Mac D en route to Abby's house in Seremban 2. Abby led the way and once we have settled down, we're off to do mandatory activity for cny, we call it BLACKJACK-ing. We called for a break when Keano and Wah Lee arrived. We then headed for dinner at Fong Shen.

Hooray! *shakes pom pom* Waihon & Ailee left early. Mahjong urges rushed through. Played a few rounds then it was time to wrap up. We all had fun! Yay!

Regarding the logo for our jersey and future undertakings. Kindly let me know which of these you think suites best.

1. symbol/icon type (example swoosh for nike and seasheel for nike)
2. text type/workmark (example dell, ibm, disney)
3. combination of text and symbol (example mcdonalds, reeboks, starbucks)

Please share your opinion ya cos it is very important. I need as much feedback as possible. This will be the logo we gonna put on our jersey, for a trip, outings, frenly match or even deploying it at mount KK or maybe Mars too one day in the future... who knows. Lol. =)

Attached here are some samples of logo that i have created for our team. Hahahaha don't laugh la ya cos it is still very very raw at the moment. What do you expect from a 30 minutes work wor. We went to eat dim sum at Puchong Jaya for lunch before we headed to Bukit Jalil for MO. Prisi couldn't make it for dim sum because she was still piggying [Quoted from AJJ]. *Sweats* Notice the Ray Band? This was next. -___-!

Story 1: Timing

During the Japanese Occupation, 3 Singaporeans, Ah Meng, Ah Seng and Ah Beng were caught for smuggling. They were sentenced to death by firing squad. That night, Ah Meng came up with a plan. He told the others that the Japanese were afraid of natural disasters. So he would cause them to panic, and escape in the confusion.The next morning, Ah Meng was led to the wall. The firing squad was lined up and the Captain commanded, "Ready.. Aim..", but before he could complete, Ah Meng shouted, "Earthquake!! Earthquake!" The Japanese soldiers panicked and Ah Meng made his escape.Later, the soldiers took Ah Seng out and the firing squad were ready. The captain commanded, "Ready... Aim..." This time Ah Seng shouted. " Flood! Flood!!" Again, the Japanese soldiers panicked and this time, Ah Seng made his escape. Then he waited for 1 day, 2 days, a week for the car to arrive but no car came to their garage. So Ah Beng called his friend and complain to his friend "I lonnoe why la no bisles one my mekenik sop". Then his friend asked "Why? Hong chui (feng shui) no good ar?".Ah Beng instantly replied "What hong chui no good, my shop got nice number open at 8th floor lerrr!!!"

Zero Nine

Little colourful bright lights mark the beginning of a brand new year. It's a horrible picture I must admit, but I could only do so much with my handphone camera. Taken at 1Utama, the blasts lasted about 15 minutes and were quite magnificent. I stood at the rooftop of the complex and for the unsuspecting unlucky, you could actually be hit by some embers.

Anyway, with the advent of Team I-Bad, we can now place more focus onto our progress in the sport.

We need some design for the blog and maybe add a calendar widget.

I can bring to the team some sports nutrition. Once you get your fix you'll turn green and start emitting electricity like Blanka then no one will stop you on court.

OK, I'll stop now.

New Year Resolution^^

Good morning everybody^^
Every year comes by i believe every year we have our own set of resolutions rite?
Below was my 2008 resolution and the results:-

1)To graduate and obtain my degree. (Achieved)
2)Keep my room and car tidy and clean all the time. (Failed)
3)Earn my own part time money enough to support myself. (Achieved)
4)Get a hot gf. (Failed)
5)Shed my weight from 89kg to 75kg (Achieved)
6)Live a healthier life by playing more sports. (Achieved)
7)Be a better and more matured person so that i can survive
in the working world.

Wooohoo! Here we present you the i-Bad team's very first entry (carmi's spam post)!Let me rip off the virginity of the blog by introducing the i-Bad family. Everybody must be wondering why the name of i-Bad is chosen among zillion of names in this utopia. Prisi! It's all because of you! *Singing Because of You by Neyo*. Oh well, I shall introduce our team members! How about a round of applause? *Clap clap clap* Tada!

ABBY (cool & big nono to mess up with.haha.HIAAAAAAK!!!).
KEANO ( one who rarely opens his mouth non other for breathing purpose).
WAIHON (his agility is no match to anybody's..WOOOOT!).
PRISCILLA (a dorable and blur at times BUT don't underestimate her! ).
MELVIN (Keanu Reeves a.k.a Daniel Wu of the troupe?).
SZE HOWE (super tall + thin guy..da..da..da..da..).
AND CARMEIN (her signature thunderous & scary laughter).
